Creation of the project’s office
The project’s office was created in the head office of „Pro Carpathia” Association seated in Gałęzowskiego 6/319 Street. New equipment has been bought - 2 computer sets: 1 stationary and 1 notebook type along with essential software, as well as a scanner and graphic software.
Activity no 2
Opening Conference
The Conference was organized in Rzeszów on 29th November 2007 in a conference hall of Investor Service Centre seated in Rynek 5 Street.
The Conference was organized in cooperation with 3 partnership institutions – “Pro Carpathia” Association (Mover and Major Financial Partner), Subcarpathian Regional Tourist Organization from Rzeszow (National Partner) as well as the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (National Partner).
The Conference attracted many participants, among others: representatives of the Polish Tourism Development Agency, Rzeszów Regional Development Agency, Museum and Castle in Łańcut, Arboretum Bolestraszyce, Office of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Culture Centre in Przemyśl, local governments (Lesko and Łańcut Districts, Przemyśl city, Tryńcza commune, Krasiczyn, Dynów near Rzeszów as well as Kołaczyce), non-governmental organizations (K.K.Ch Boguchwała Association, Sport and Promotion Centre in Lesko), higher schools (Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania w Rzeszowie, Rzeszow University, Rzeszow Polytechnic), representatives of partnership organizations and Ukrainian partners (West Ukrainian Travel Association from Lviv and the Administration of Lviv District .
The Conference was opened by one of the Department Directors of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
The project’s supervisor (A. Pieniążek) presented the major project’s objectives. Ms Magdalena Rakuś (from Polish Tourism Development Agency) presented the Strategy for the Tourism Development in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in years 2007-2013. Next, the representative of the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency presented Practical experience in transborder cooperation. Mr Adam Halwa from Culture Centre seated in Przemyśl made a presentation concerning Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, using the example of the international jazz festival “JEZZ BEZ….”; Ms Agata Sarna (Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship) as well as Ms Oksana Muzychuk also made their speeches.
Acitivity no 3
Report preparation
On 11th February 2008 first workshop meeting was organized. Workshops were held in the Investor Service Centre seated in Rynek 5 Street.
The meeting attracted many participants – representatives of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Podkarpacka Regional Tourism Organization, “Pro Carpathia” Association, Rzeszów Regional Development Agency.
On 20th and 21st February another workshop meeting was organized. Along with the above mentioned participants, partnership organizations took part in it. These were the representatives of the Rzeszów University, Rzeszów Polytechnic, Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa from Krosno, Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania from Rzeszów, Sanok Poviat Starosty, Czarna Commune Culture Centre, as well as representatives of the local media “Nowiny” and Ukrainian partners - West Ukrainian Travel Association from Lviv, Transcarpathian Enterprise Support TES Fund.

"Identity of strategic area”
Meetings concerning this project’s strategy took part from January till March 2008. One of the first meetings was organized on 17th January 2008 in the head office of the Marshal of the Voivodeship (seated in Hetmańska Street), and representatives of over 90 partnership organizations form Podkarpackie Voivodeship participated in the event. Mr J. Kowalski – the chief strategy coordinator was also present.
On 25th January 2008 in conference hall of the Investors Service Centre, the next meeting took place.
This meeting gathered representatives of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Podkarpacka Regional Tourism Organization, “Pro Carpathia” Association, “Kraina Sanu” Association, Rzeszów Regional Development Agency, Ukrainian partners - West Ukrainian Travel Association from Lviv, Transcarpathian Enterprise Support TES Fund.

Informative Campaign
Workshop meeting took place on 6th December 2007. It was the first of a content-related meetings, held by an expert coordinating the strategy preparation. The meeting was organized in the head office of the “Pro Carpathia” Association, seated in Gałęzowskiego Street.

Activity no 8
Designing basic elements of identification (visual representation)
These workshops were organized in accordance with once admitted schedule and devoted to finding elements of visual, symbolic representation. The meetings contributed to establishment of final version of common policy in brand creation.
Workshops gathered representatives of all project’s partners, i.e. Podkarpacka Regional Tourism Organization, employees of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, “Pro Carpathia” Association, representatives of the West Ukrainian Travel Association (ZUTA) from Lviv, as well as local media “Nowiny” and “Super Nowości”, academic centers – Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania and Rzeszów Regional Development Agency.
On 17th April workshops were organized in Rzeszów conference hall (VA BANK restaurant). On 18th April the meeting took form of an outdoor workshops led by Mr J. Kowalski.

Activity no 10 Workshops in sales promotion
Workshops organized from 6 to 7th May (Stage 9 – Management over integrated area representation and Stage 10 – Workshops in sales promotion). These meetings were organized in Rzeszów conference hall (VA BANK restaurant) and gathered the representatives of Podkarpacka Regional Tourism Organization (national partner), employees of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (national partner), “Pro Carpathia” Association, academic centers – Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania, Rzeszów Polytechnic, Rzeszów Regional Developemnet Agency, tourism company („Dzika Przyroda”), media representatives (“Nowiny”), as well as Przemyśl city.

Workshops devoted to products’ visual representation
On 19th May another workshops were organized. This time they were devoted to creation of visual products’ representation and establishing grounds for a firm competition in the field of products’ visualization. The workshops were organized in Rzeszów conference hall (VA BANK restaurant) and gathered representatives of Podkarpacka Regional Tourism Organization (national partner), employees of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (national partner), “Pro Carpathia” Association, Ukrainian partners - West Ukrainian Travel Association from Lviv, Transcarpathian Enterprise Support TES Fund as well as local media (“Nowiny”).

Workshops – preparation of promotion activities schedule, monitoring of strategies implementation, review of project’s realization.
